Ganymede appears to get several ocean levels, stacked up with layers of ice between them. The best volume of ice would be the crust, which might be about one hundred fifty kilometers (about ninety miles) thick. The lowest ocean degree may be 800 kilometers (about five hundred miles) underneath that, just earlier mentioned the main layer of the moon
